I was pleased to see you all in class again and hope that this year will be as beneficial to you as I am sure it will be to me !
We started by giving you information about this year's work and what is expected of you . We will try to work as much as possible and to evaluate you orally since your mark will be given for your oral work . You need to get 12 / 20 in the normal Exam and 10 / 20 in the oral European section in order to have the European label ! So we need to go to work immediately !!!!!!
We exchanged email addresses , cell phones and this blog addresses in case of emergencies ONLY !
The summer assignements were the next on the agenda , and to introduce this literary and artistic topic we tried to make you think about the connection between historians , geographers , artists , novelists and playwrights .
You seemed to understand that the artistic world and the more serious academic world can be connected . The difference being how things are interpreted , subjectively or objectively
You will have your assessments on the summer assignments next Wednesday, September 10 th so don't forget to look at the first post in this section to help you !
