Week 8 Monday November 2nd - 8th 2015

Welcome back!

This week you had an evaluation on New York and personal info in which you had to write an email to a teenager in England in the shoes of a young American from New York.

In the group sessions you did your English is a Pain and Tongue Twister reading evaluations, which for some of you were very disappointing ( this is what we call an understatement in English). The I gave you an autoevaluation sheet to be filled in for next week. You really need to understand what is expected of you in class in order to progress.

Week 7 Monday October 12th - 17th 2015

This week was rather short as far as your classes go due to the various activities and problems around.

So all in all we only really had one class and one  group session in which we worked on reviewing the presents, comparatives and superlatives then on phonetics.

The evaluation which was postponed will take place on Monday November 2nd so be ready.

Week 4 Monday September 21st - 26th 2015

This week you had your first test on classroom English and instructions. Judging by the results a lot of you are not learning your lessons!

We worked on a picture dictation, prepositions and how to describe a visual document as well as looking at a Summer Review.

You have to be ready with one of the events from this review for next week and make sure you learn the picture dictation.

Week 1-3 September 4th - 19th 2015

SEQUENCE 00

 We started by getting to know each other, exchanging addresses, talking about the material, checking out the time-tables and so on. We then worked on classroom English and instructions.

At the same time we started working on how to analyse a visual document, had a picture dictation and noted down the date of our first evaluation.

Don't forget to prepare for Tuesday Sept 22nd.
