We saw each other once this week and worked on some language structures. Only half of you were present.

Week 29 Monday May 11th - 16th 2015

Only one lesson this week but you weren't all concentrated.

Iwill see you only once next week, on Friday.

Week 26 Monday April 6th- 11th 2015

Only one session this week in which you had a CO training ready for your final exam which should take place on May 7th.

I gave you back and we commented on your CE/EE as well as talking about your EO.

Good luck for your mock exams but work hard too, usually these two ideas go together, hand in hand for success.

Have a rest during the Spring holidays then make sure you are ready for both the oral comprehension on May 7th and the EO starting from May 4th.

Week 25 Monday March 30th - April 4th 2015

Although you have been under pressure this week for the most part you have taken it pretty well!

Next Friday you will only have a CO and then be working on your EO.

Have a nice weekend.

Week 24 Monday March 23rd - 28th 2015

This week we worked on an information sharing activity then did a CO training.

Next week we will continue the CO training then you will have a CE and an EE to finish off this sequence.

Week Monday 21 March 2nd - 7th 2015

Welcome back.

This week we started the last notion namely Space and Exchange focusing on visual documents and a listening.

I gave you a CE to do for Monday March 23rd. Work on it as if it were your exam.

Make the most of your 'free' time to prepare your orals too.

Week 20 Monday February 9th - 14th 2015

This week we finished off the work on the third notion then you started working on your EO.

Finish this off during the holidays and if you want me to see/listen to it, don't hesitate to ask.
Some of you asked for extra basic work. Let me see it when we get back.

Week 19 Monday February 2nd - 7th 2015

This week you did an EE then we worked on two visual documents in connection with the inequalities in the world due to a lack of awareness.

We then listened to an oral document entitled The Widening Gap. We will pick this up next week.

Week 18 Monday January 26th - 31st 2015

This week we worked around a text info exchange subject, the movie Argo, which we had seen at the local cinema and a Banksy cartoon.

Be ready for your EE on Monday about Argo.

Week 17 Monday January 19th - 24th 2015

This week we worked on Money by Benjamin Zephaniah, did a listening about the Wall Street
crisis then on Friday began an information sharing exercise.

We'll pick this up next week.

Week 15 Monday January 5th - 10th 2015

Happy New Year!

This week we started on a new notion by viewing a cartoon and then started on a text by Benjalin Zephaniah entitled Money.  You have some qustions to answer about it so be ready for Jan 19th.

I also gave you some time to work on your EO for Idea of Progress. You will all be having a mock exam next week so make the most of the experience!

Week 13 Monday December 8th - 13th 2014

Having started the week finding out how to write a letter and a dialogue we finished by talking about  the film we'd seen, The Island. You have to write  your first essay, dialogue or letter for January 5th on this subject.

 For those of you who want to do a correction of your last CE don't forget to hand it in on the same date. I won't accept it any later!!!

Week 12 Monday December 1st - 6th 2014

What an eventful week! We started with an article then did a CO on  new technologies and finished with a CE on the notion of Idea of Progress.

Don't forget our film at L'Etoile cinema next Tuesday pm. You won't be disappointed!

Week 11 Monday November 24th - 29th 2014

This week you had a debate which went very well, yoan u did a listening exam style and we worked on article focusing on new technologies. Not bad for one week's work.

Continue in this way all of  you!

I received most of your oral expressions so shall be giving you my advice next week. Don't forget the written comprehension test on the notion, Idea of Progress next Friday.

Week 10 Monday November 17th - 22nd 2014

This week we continued working on cloning, both reproductive and theraputic by studying a text on the subject.

You will have a debate on the subject next week and a CO . Please be ready with your ideas.

Week 9 Monday November 10th-15th 2014

This week we  worked mainly on two texts, in groups by sharing the  information. We then watched the trailer of My Sister's Keeper, which illustrates the subject very well. Be ready to talk about this next week.

I also gave you back your tests and commented.

Week 8 Monday November 3rd - 8th 2014

This week we started on Idea of Progress by studying a visual document. You also started training for your first EO which you have to send to me by Nov 17th and you had your first CE exam style.

Week 7 Monday October 13th-18th 2014

We finished off the work on Myths and Heroes this week so you will have your first CE on Novemeber 7th.

As for the CO it was not too good but for a first try I have seen worse. You will have time to work on your listening so stay optimistic.

We will be working on your first EO after the holidays so start looking at pages 244 - 246 in your text books for help.

Week 6 Monday October 6th - 11th 2014

This week we worked around a matching exercise concerning the debunking of the myth.

You also had some listening training in the form of a video news report.

Don't forget that next Monday you will have an evaluation, oral style and we'll work in more detail on two of the documents in the unit.
