This week we continued working on The Cold War by viewing certain extracts out of some American films. The extracts chosen show the different attitudes towards the Russian block depending on the period when the film was made. The earlier film around 1954, was very critical of the 'enemy', whereas in

Detente, which we had difficulty viewing unfortunately the film maker's is even quite amusing and light.
The last extract will be continued next week so come ready to analyse. You were all quite engrossed in the film to say the least, which I can quite understand!
