This week started with our New Year's resolutions and those of a cat! Yes even cats can make resolutions apparently and ours, in the cartoon, had made atleast two. The first he had already broken, he had eaten the bird which used to live in the cage. His second was probably not to eat the fish which seemed to be frantically turning round in the fish bowl, scared to death!
Then on Tuesday we had our Multicultural party in which we viewed a videocast of Benjamin Zephania reciting Don't Kill Turkeys this Christmas. Some of you had really made an effort to make some traditional food. Thank you for the lovely things you brought.
In the group session we worked around the different past tenses, at your request!
I also gave you an article and questions to start looking at in our introduction to Bend it Like Beckham , a film which we'll view in class, a part of atleast, to see the multicultural aspect of the British society.
See you next week.
