Week 14 Monday December 7th - 12th 2009

This week having finished off The Science lesson we started working on the comparison of texts about Hurricane Katrina . In order to do this we looked at the cover page of Newsweek magazine first of all then at two documents, one criticising and the other stating the effects of the hurricane.
Your task was to compare the two documents and to see their relevance in the environmental issue.

We also looked at a few photos which we commented as to the situations, the wishes and regrets of the participants. Your fellow pupil, Karim, could have had several wishes and regrets afterwards !

You have your mock exams next week so remember everything we have said about the method!
We will finish off the work on the environment in January.
