Week 6 Monday, October 5th-10th

This week we continued working on Sicko, by Micheal Moore. You seem very interested in the information and rather shocked to know how difficult it can be for many people living in the States particularly concerning their health.

On Friday we reviewed the information and you asked me a few questions about the system in England.

We then took 20 minutes to discuss our future plans, to organise work groups around the speech for the American Embassy videoconference on Wednesday, October 21st, it was decided that you would all mail your epals telling them about our mobilisation to make some money for our trip as well as asking them questions about the health system in the States. We pooled together ideas of other enriching activities such as a Bingo night, designing and selling t-shirts ........

You are all full of good ideas.
We finished by choosing the four heads of the teams; Sandrine, Senabou, Ines and Sophie for the blue, white, purple and black respectively.
We'll be organising a meeting soon so they can introduce themselves to the other levels in the section.

Thanks to all of you who came running today. Salim and Karim did very well coming in 2nd and fifth!! Well done!!!!!!
