Week 5 Monday 28th Sept - October 3rd 2009

This week we started on the theme, Gap year firstly by trying to guess what it might be , looking at photos and so on then viewing a web site inorder to have a wider view. You were asked to go on to the site and be ready to summarize your findings as well as to give your definition of this phenomenon.

On Friday not many of you had taken the trouble to view the site, well done to those who had!

So we started on a text about the advantages and disadvantages of a gap year seen through the eyes of the Irish. After the introduction you were asked to pick out the good and bad points as well as the people who had had the experience and the organisations involved.

In the group session we did a basic getting to know you recap in preparation for your cover letters !
