Week 4 Monday 21st Sept - 26 th

What a noisy lot you are !! If this continues we are going to have to take some drastic measures like ........

This week we started by listening to Beethoven's 9th symphony and especially the European anthem. We talked about why it had been chosen then continued checking over the cross word.
Some of you hadn't worked very much at all!

We then started working around a speech made by Winston Churchill . There again you hadn't remembered much, especially those of you who went on the school trip last year!!!

You have to be ready for a quiz on the countries of Europe and their capitals, and on Chuchill's life and why he was famous! Don't forget to prepare the extract of the speech so we can progress more quickly. This is your work, to look up the vocabulary you might not understand and to be ready.
