Very soon , Friday February 13th , a theatre group will come to the high school to perform a play entitled Shakespod . This play , as its name suggests , is created around a playlist of scenes from eight of Shakespeares works of art .
Shakes is obviously an abbreviation for Shakespeare , the Bard as he was otherwise known . As for pod it doesn't take much of an imagination to guess where that comes from !
However the question is ' What is the connection between Shakespeare and an ipod ? '
How on earth can we associate two completely opposite things ? Well if you are interested , as many of your teachers, you will be able to find out by attending .
The performance costs 6 euros per pupil and will take place at 16 .00 / 4pm in the auditorium . Don't forget your ticket , your ears and a broadmind !!!
Happy viewing !
