Week 12 Monday December 1st - 6th 2014

This week wename worked on the opening episode of Pillars of the Earth, an eight part miniseries based on the novel of the same name  by Ken Follett . A few of you had already viewed this episode so were able to talk about it rather well. The period of Anarchy, as it was known, was an extremely violent one in British history. We will be studying the consequences in class.

You also did a description of a visual document in connection with the Americans' attitude to Irish immigrants in the beginning of last century.
