This week we finished off working on Sir Blake's biography and learnt that Pop Art, as Pop Music was very much a commercial affair and part and parcel of the consumer society which inspired it.
We read certain articles and exchanged information then matched our knowledge and understanding with certain Pop Art paintings by Andy Warhol. You were then shown a final painting for which you will have to write the article in groups.
The painting is entitled : Green Car Crash, Andy Warhol 1963
Don't forget to bring in your own Pop Art paintings for November 10th.
We are going to the cinema on November 4th so if you haven't already paid or handed in the parental authorisation please do so on Monday, November 3rd.
