So once we'd established how you'd spent your holidays we began the year by discussing current events and the up and coming American general elections. We checked over your general knowledge on the subject and realised, much to our horror, that you didn't have a lot! So we asked you to rectify that by finding things out at home before the next lesson. Then we started viewing some clips about the parties' programmes and campaigns. We will finish this off next week. In the meantime you gave your speeches on your summer assignment.
