Week 15 Tuesday January 3rd-7th 2012

This week we started off by correcting your last test which you'd done before the winter holidays.

In Friday's lesson, to which only 45% of you attended, we started on a new sequence namely Immigration to the USA by describing and interpreting several visual documents. The conclusion we came to was that the former good reputation of the USA as a land of welcome was changing since they were limiting their quotas. Illegal immigration had grown however and the authorities were reacting to it in a none too delicate way.
