Week 20 Monday Feb 7th-12th 2011
This week we worked on the Magna Carta and King John. You saw how the Prince John of the Robin Hood legend was very similar to this historical character in many ways. He was obliged, by a rebellion of his nobles to sign the charter and hand over his absolute power. All classes of subjects were in some way protected by the charter and the common council and the group of 25 Barons were the beginning of todays Houses of Parliament.
