Week 12 Monday Nov 29th- Dec 4th 2010

This week we finished off the exercises from the text , before attacking the last text concerning immigration entitled Immigration, a Source of Strength. Infact this document is an article in which a former Governor of New York State talks about his own past as an example for continuing to accept immigrants into the country. He compares immigrants of old to those of today concerning their jobs, financial situation, way of travelling and the like. Despite certain differences they all have the same desires of success, respect of discipline and hardwork.

You will have a CE on the subject of immigration next Tuesday so be ready.

On Friday we started working on a mini sequence concerning the new technologies. I asked you to review the trailer I'd shown you. You will find it on this blog under the label Films. Look at the words of the theme tune too and think about the slogan !!!!
