This week has been a no-week for most of you. I perceived a lot of you out of the staffroom window however I only spoke to two of you in class! I can understand that you had problems getting into class at the beginning of the week however by Friday it was easy enough for you to walk into school and go to class. I am quite sure that you were in certain classes and not English. What a pity!
So in class on Friday we worked on the Waves of Immigration . Finish it off for Friday November 5th.
Secondly I gave a sheet on Ellis Island, to your classmates present, for you. Start reading it and be ready!
As for the test that you have been avoidng all week you have to hand it in on Friday November 5th as a homework exercise. There is both the written comprehension and written expression to do!
I will not be 'tolerant' since it is work about work we have done in class! So please take the time and make the effort to check up if you are not sure. Don't just rush off the work to say that you have handed it in on time !
Have a nice fruitful holiday nonetheless!
PS If you can be present for SES at 10.30 you can also be there for English at 9.20!!!!!!
PPS Sorry to 'nag' so but I really think some of you have not realised how important your languages can be yet as to your success in the final exam!
