This week we finished working on the Gap Year by looking at and comparing cover letters so that you too could create your own concerning one of the jobs on a classified ads sheet. We completed the work on the link words and set the dates for your tests and homework to be in.
The cover letter should be in next Tuesday and your comprehension test is on Friday 15th.
On Friday we started a new sequence on Immigration by finding out what you knew about America. By the way it was Bartholdi who created the Statue of Liberty and not Eiffel as a lot of you suggested!
