I don't know if you are aware of this but there is a Turner exhibition at Le Grand Palais in Paris until May. Who is Turner? Sorry, I should have introduced you to him beforehand. Well he was one of , if not, the best known English artist(s) of his time and ours!
He has influenced many artists since then, especially in the impressionist school. His work spanned over a long period of time and he was rather rich, even throughout his own life time, which was rare for an artist. He often captured epic subjects in painting and played with light like nobody before him!
