Week 35 Monday June 1st - 6th 2009

This week you were given the opportunity of catching your History teacher out with as many tricky questions you could ask about the English Revolution .

Some of you tried quite well and managed to stump him . However others had not really preparede very well . These marks will be included in your end of term report .

On Friday we began working on our last chapter of the year , A Costal town in the USA, Boston .
You have to complete the first 5 questions for next Wednesday .

I also took the opportunity to hand you out your summer assignment namely to find out about one of four well-known people , Dickens, Byron, Churchill and Oscar Wilde , then to become familiar with one of their more famous works and say how they were representative of their time .

There is a post on this blog to consult, if you so wish, under the label European Class Lower Sixth . It is one of the first posts so you have to roll down to find it . It should give you a lot of ideas and help .

Happy research !
