Week 26 March 30th - April 4th 2009

This week we went over the text The Death Car then continued working around crime .

By using visual documents and a mini text we began working on how to express if we are sure or not ! You managed to give different degrees of certainty . You have very good imaginations too !
eg :
The man in the document may be lying on the ground because he has had a heart attack .
The phone is off the hook so he must have been telephoning before .
He might have received some bad news and fainted ...... and so on .

In class we also began a listening, The Clock Strikes Twelve , which we will complete next time .

You likewise had a mini test on crime vocabulary .

You were asked to find some information about the king of crime himself, Alfred Hitchcock .
