This week we started on a new topic, The English Monarchy and Religion . To begin with we described Holbein's painting of Henry 8th and compared it to another of Charles 1st . You were
asked to show how both of these paintings, despite their differences, show the power of the King of England .
This work has to be done for Wednesday 25th March since, as you know, there will not be any lessons next week because some of you will be on the trip to London with myself and three other teachers .
Don't forget to look at the post under the House Message label and find out a bit more about the trip, especially if you are not going ! This information will help yopu to prepare some questions which you will have to ask the ' travellers' on their return about London, its sites / sights and their experiences .
See you soon !
