Week 18 Monday 19th - Saturday 24 th January 2009

Last Wednesday we recapped on the Asian population in SanFransisco before starting work on the physical aspect of the town seen through a video . You had to observe then answer several questions , on a worksheet , about what you learnt from the visual representation . Was the town built up or very calm ? What type of activities could be seen ?........... and so on ..............

The video was accompanied by three pieces of music and you were asked to find something out about the singer , Otis Redding .

On Friday you related what you had found and we continued on the study of one of the songs , Sitting on the Dock of the Bay . This you had to listen to , on this blog , for next lesson inorder to draw any possible conclusions about the context and the song .
