Let's try Mrs Diallo style: Week 9 Monday , Nov 10th to Saturday , Nov 15th

This week we finished off the work we had started introducing the Industrial Revolution in the UK .

On Friday there were only a few of you present because of the field trip . We looked at the trailer of North and South , an adaptation of the novel by Elisabeth Gaskell by the BBC . After having described and analysed it we looked at a written critique of the series and then started , but only just , some information about the author herself .

I hope through this lesser read novel to have given a certain impression of change through struggle conflict and passion in the Victorian era !
