Week 10 November 17th - 22nd 2008

Here we are again after another week of work . Can you imagine this is the last week of the first term . As from next Monday the second term begins ! Yes and all of that means reports and class meetings .
Well as to the work we did this week , after our initial recap on Thursday about the introduction to the listening document we finished it off . Having pulled together the main information we noted up the ideas on the board . Your homework was to learn this information .

At the beginning of the next session a few of you gave back this information then we moved on to a text , extracted from The Buddha of Suburbia by Hanif Kureishi . This we only managed to introduce , describe the visual document and read . You were asked to answer questions 2 - 4 on the worksheet for next week .

In the module session we started off with a discussion , information exchange activity around the information you had gathered last week from Britkid , the website .
Then I gave you a text about the multicultures in GB which I asked you to read at home and in which you have to find specific information depending on your chosen ethnic group . We will check through this in the next group session .
We finished with an exercise on proportions and figures ! You have to finish off the last 3 sentences .
