September 15th -20th

So this week we pulled together the information on why we are at school and what each of our roles and objectives are . We talked a bit about the A level exams and I gave you a list of typical written expression subjects .

We then started the first theme using visual documents , an ad and a cartoon . You had to put all this information into form as well as read a little text talking about fossil fuels which create a lot of pollution , the green house effect and so on .

In you second lesson you did the assessment for the summer assignment and finally we
viewed Tony Blair's speech about the environment and the devastating effects of global warming , Al Gore style !
